Conveniently located just 10 kilometres from Dhanolti on the main Chamba Mussoorie highway, aMala is easily accessible and serves as an ideal base for exploring the region. During the winter months from December to February, visitors can witness the enchanting spectacle of snow-covered landscapes, making aMala one of the closest snow destinations from Delhi.
We are around 300+ km from Delhi and can be easily reached by road that takes around 7- 9 hours. The nearest airport and railway station is Dehradun and Rishikesh and we are around 2.5 hours from them.

Places to visit in Kanatal Uttarakhand
Kaudia Forest
A thick dense forest filled with pine and deodar trees, valleys and various kind of species of plants and wild animals. Ideal place for lovers of trekking and hiking to enjoy the dense forest. You can also enjoy the forest with guided jeep tours.
Surkanda Devi Temple
The famous temple of Goddess Sati is situated near Kaddukhal which is only 5 kms from aMala. As per Hindu Mythology, it is believed that the head of Goddess Sati falls in this temple. Surkanda Devi Temple is among one of the 51st Shaktipeeth which is situated around the dense forest. The temple is surrounded by the picturesque view of the Himalayas. It is a 3 km trek up the hill to the temple, but now there is a rope way to the temple too.
Tehri Dam
The Uttarakhand’s artificial Tehri Dam reservoir is a popular and a must-see man-made lake. The Tehri Lake offers various kinds of water sports. The tranquil beauty and peaceful destination are perfect gateway.
Dhanaulti Eco Park
The Dhanaulti Eco Park is a famous tourist spot which was developed by the Divisional Forest Officer and the people of Dhanaulti. The Dhanaulti Eco Park houses several deodar and cedar forest. The adventurous and nature loving people would love the nature walk at Dhanaulti Eco Park.

Best Time to Visit Kanatal Uttarakhand
The best time to visit Kanatal is between April to October when the weather is very pleasant, the mountains green with wide variety of flowers – Rhododendron, also known as the Buransh, the state flower of Uttarakhand turning the hill station a vibrant red. If you want to witness snowfall then December to February is the best time.
